About This Role
As a Fiber Optic Installation Lead at Techs on Standby, you'll lead fiber optic infrastructure projects for
government and energy sectors. Execute mission-critical deployments with zero tolerance for error in
high-security environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and splice single-mode and multi-mode fiber
- Perform OTDR testing and certification
- Lead installation crews on large-scale projects
- Ensure NERC CIP and security compliance
- Create detailed documentation and as-builts
- Train and mentor junior fiber technicians
Requirements
- 5+ years fiber optic installation experience
- FOA or equivalent fiber certification
- OTDR and power meter proficiency
- Experience with fusion and mechanical splicing
- Valid driver's license and travel ability
- Security clearance eligibility
