Low Voltage Technician

About This Role

As a Low Voltage Technician at Techs on Standby, you'll install and maintain structured cabling infrastructure for commercial and government clients. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced environment with hands-on training.

Key Responsibilities

• Install Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6a cabling per TIA/BICSI standards
• Terminate and test network cables and patch panels
• Mount racks, cable trays, and pathway systems
• Pull cable through walls, ceilings, and conduit
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Maintain clean and organized work sites

Requirements

• 1-3 years low voltage or cabling experience
• Knowledge of TIA-568 standards
• Experience with cable testing equipment (Fluke)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders
• Valid driver's license
• High school diploma or equivalent
