About This Role
As a Network Infrastructure Engineer at Techs on Standby, you'll design and implement enterprise-grade
network solutions for government, healthcare, and enterprise clients requiring robust, scalable
infrastructure that meets the highest compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design structured cabling systems (Cat6a, fiber optic) for enterprise deployments
- Develop network architecture for large-scale multi-site rollouts
- Ensure FISMA, HIPAA, and industry compliance standards are met
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on complex projects
- Create detailed network diagrams and technical documentation
- Collaborate with project managers and field teams
- Conduct site surveys and assess client requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 5+ years experience in network engineering and design
- CCNA/CCNP or equivalent networking certifications
- Experience with structured cabling design (BICSI/TIA standards)
- Knowledge of enterprise networking (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba)
- Strong documentation and communication skills
